Delving into the science behind espresso extraction. Help students to make a better espresso at home/Cafe. Collaborating as a group, we will brew and taste a variety of coffees.
Internship Program Workshop
Duration 1 hour

This class runs for 1 hour and you must have completed the Barista Initiation and latte art Initiation/Industry professional to be eligible.
Make as much coffee as possible in one hour in the class room. Help you become proficient in the coffee making process. Coffee order practice includes 2 bottles of full cream milk, 1 bottle skim milk, 2 special milk(soy/almond/Oat/lactose free) and 1/2 kg of coffee beans.
*Paragon was created in collaboration with Zurich University of Applied Science (ZHAW) after researching the effect of temperature on volatile aroma compounds preservation and the resulting sensory flavour outcomes in coffee. ZHAW measured up to 40% more key aroma volatile compounds in the final brew with Paragon than the same brew with no chilling.
Filter Workshop
Duration 2 hours
Date Thursday 1pm-3pm
Cost Per Person $69(50% off in May)
This workshop is suitable for all levels.
Compare the difference from V60, Origami, Kalita
and Switch Filter. This class will help you to understand which dripper is more suitable for you.

Re-booking Fees
Course dates changed within 72 hours of a class – $15 pp
Course dates changed within 48 hours of a class – $50 pp
Cancellations & Refunds
Please allow a minimum of 72 hours’ prior to course commencement to transfer or cancel your course attendance, or you will forfeit your full course and booking fee. Thank you!!
If you wish to transfer to another course or cancel your booking, you must contact us via email [email protected] or call 07 5532 7836 more than 48 hours’ prior to course commencement, for a course refund (please note you will forfeit the $15 booking fee!!)
Attendance & Lateness
Anyone that fails to show to a booked date (regardless of reason) is considered a NO SHOW – No refunds applies.
